What is the rsyslog Wiki?
The rsyslog Wiki is designed to provide a place for rsyslog users to post helpful information for the rsyslog community. The Wiki is provided as an alternative to the forums and allows for more of a community control over such documentation.
ToDo's
This page lists things that need to be done. We would appreciate if some volunteer could take care of them.
We are far from being wiki experts. I also have to admit that I prefer spending time on coding rsyslog that on creating the greatest wiki.
Contributions in all areas are highly appreciated. Here are a few suggestions:
- create configuration examples
- submit experience reports
- help with creating the wiki structure, navigation and templates
Who can edit a text/page?
Anyone may edit the texts and the pages, if you feel you have something to contribute feel free to add it to the wiki.
And anyone who works active with Wikipedia knows how to work with a Wiki.
How do I edit a text?
With the exception of a few protected pages, every page has a link that says "edit this page", which lets you edit the page you are looking at.
It is the most basic feature of Wikis, and allows you to make corrections and add facts to articles.
