Config file format for version 3.x

Feel free to post candidates for config file formats. Please use a specific page for each format. If possible, try to be as precise as possible.


Please note that we have settled on a programming-language like config file syntax. The config file will support RainerScript in the future. This is expected to materialize in summer of 2008. This page here is retained for historical reasons.
